Traditional Dances

Old time traditional dances are brought to you twice monthly by the Midland Traditional Dancers. Contras,
Squares, and Circle Dances are danced two Saturdays of every
month from September to May. Each dance night there will be a special
beginners' welcoming session for new dancers at 7:00 p.m. followed by
the dance from 7:30-10:00. Unless otherwise noted, dances are held in the Mirror Room of the Midland Community Center 2001 George Street Midland, MI 48640
Cost: $6.00 per person for each evening or $60 for a season pass
Beginners are especially
welcome. Dances are taught and led by
Jerry Hickman, Jane Thickstun, and other local callers. Music will be provided by Morpath Rant or Peat Bog. Comfortable shoes and casual clothing are recommended.
The dance dates and all the details for the 2007-2008 season schedule are shown on the dance flier which can be printed out.
